    Hi kacho,
    I don't know if "DATA" can be used to write a string like that.
    Maybe try:
    DATA @100,72,79,76,65,32,71,69,78,84,69 ;ASCII values for " HOLA GENTE "
    (hope I got the ASCII codes right).

    Hmmm... the manual says "DATA" can handle strings - strange.
