Default PBP 2.50 and 2.60 on the same PC

    Hi all,

I have PBP 2.50 installed on my laptop in the directory C:\pbp. Now, before I mess something up or change some settings in my laptop, I want to be safe and ask you guys first. I would like to install PBP 2.60 in the directory c:\pbp260. Then, I would like to switch back and forth between the two versions as needed. Is this a safe thing to do? Can I change between versions just by changing the compiler directory shown in the next picture? This window in the picture is from Compile and Program Options... in Microcode Studio.

Thank you all for your help,

    Robert

    Yes.
    I normally name the directories
    PBP_247
    PBP_250
    PBP_260
    and switch as you describe.
