    Default code protect

    Guys,

just wondered if I select the code protect option when programming, can the chip then be erased and re-programmed again - or would the PIC then become useless after the erasure ?

All code protect does id stops the code from being read back. You can still erase and re-write.

Dave, thanks for confirming that. I'm at the point of releasing one of my projects to an independant person for review, and didn't want the code to get copied.
