Bruce, I have used gold phoenix almost exclusively for the past 2 years. I have had both production and prototype runs made with them. Overall good pricing, quick turn, and good service.

You can't beat their 100 and 150 sq in prototype prices. I usually put about six designs together at a time and use this option. Pricing with 5 day turn and fedex shipping is about $100-$150.

Payment is through paypal and most transactions are completed through e-mail. If you can get over that they are great to work with.

I've used them via Spark Fun's BatchPCB when I wanted just a couple of boards for testing a design. The quality is excellent.

When I need more than a couple of boards, I use ezPCB...

Quality, service and delivery times are excellent and they will do non-plated holes and very tight spacing. They also offer assembly at reasonable rates (even for a handful of boards) although I've yet to avail myself of this service.

Oh, and don't let the transparent menus on their web page throw you like they did me initially.

I have only heard positive things about golden pcb .. I believe they make their boards out of Malaysia
