    Default MicroCode Studio ICD Working?

I've sifted through the forum but don't see a lot of references to the software debug capabilities of Microcode Studio Plus. Forgive what could be a silly question but does the MCS ICD work as advertised?
These are the good old days.

    NullDevice,

I haven't used the Microcode Studio ICD. But, I can tell you that it slows down your code a lot and it takes away some programming space from your chip. There other ways to debug your program. The thread below will give you some ideas.

    Absolutely; it sure does.

But remember, the free version only does ICD on 16F628; since you asked about the 'Plus', the commercial version, yes it works as advertised.

My only complaint is that the company seems to have stopped providing support to newer chips.
