Default IO drive strenghts on a PIC18F97J60

    I'm using the PIC18F97J60 for a project.
I've just read in the datasheet that some of the ports have "minimum" drive strengths...
I haven't found anywhere in the datasheet what "minimum" drive strength actually means...

Does anyone know if these IO are capable of driving the base of a transistor?
if not, is their a chip or something that can be used?

    thanks

Data sheet- 39762e, Section 27.0 "Electrical Characteristics" (pg 417)

Maximum output current sunk by any PORTB and PORTC I/O pins = 25 mA
Maximum output current sunk by any PORTD, PORTE and PORTJ I/O pins = 8 mA
Maximum output current sunk by any PORTA, PORTF, PORTG and PORTH I/O pins (Note 3) = 2 mA
Maximum output current sourced by any PORTB and PORTC I/O pins = 25 mA
Maximum output current sourced by any PORTD, PORTE and PORTJ I/O pins = 8 mA
Maximum output current sourced by any PORTA, PORTF, PORTG and PORTH I/O pins (Note 3) = 2 mA
Maximum current sunk by all ports combined. = 200 mA
Maximum current sourced by all ports combined = 200 mA

    DOH! didn't see that bit...
2mA... hmmm, gotta go find the data sheet for the transistors now...
