Default New version of Pic BASIC Pro released

Just a heads up in case you are about to buy version 4.50. I called HVM Technologies to order the update to 4.50 and was told that they are expecting version 4.60 any day now. MeLabs already lists 4.60 on their home site.

I haven't seen any mention if I can upgrade directly from 2.46 or if I have to pass by 2.50 first. Does anyone know how this works?

EDIT: I am assuming the patches work on their specific versions, but that upgrades work from any version. I'd just like confirmation before ordering.

Updates to a version are free.

To get a new version,2.60 at a reduced price you need to have a bill of sales for the version you are currently using.

2.60 came out sometime last summer.

    Edit:
I should have said patches to a version.

    Uh yeah, what he said.

    I meant 2.46, then 2.50 and now 2.60.

Why insist on using 32 Bits when you're not even able to deal with the first 8 ones ??? ehhhhhh ...

IF there is the word "Problem" in your question ...
    certainly the answer is " RTFM " or " RTFDataSheet " !!!
