    Default Protect a pic18f2550

    Hi, can any one help i want to protect a pic18f2550 from being read after its programed.. what should i activate in the programmer settings... many thanks

    In the configuration settings in the *.inc file you will want to turn code protection on.

    hi, i only have the hex not asm file....

    Well ask who ever you got the hex from to recompile it for you.

    You should be able to set CONFIGURATION FUSE settings manually into your programmer at program time over-riding any that were set when the HEX was created.
