    Default Code request....18f2550 usb/serial

Ok I have been pulling my hair out for nearly 4 days, photos to prove it on request....

can someone with a few mins to spare knock up a simple prog to send hello world via usb as 9600 serial etc.

Why as serial, 1) not everything is windows based, 2) if your having problems lets keep it simple, no awful windows software and drivers and VB programs....

Please post source and hex, the hex so ppl have a guaranteed file to burn to verify there hardware etc

I know it does not sound like much but it would be so useful to so many dabbling with usb for the first time, I know examples already exist, but they are not the simplest of examples, and when something does not work, where do you start.. is it the hw, is it the config fuses, is it the program, is it the compiler, so many areas to fail...Thats why you need the hex, for a few crystal freqs would be nice, say 4 and 20, maybe 16...

so, someone, help us all out! stop showing how good you are writing fifty page monsters and knock up just a simple test - become famous, your code may just make it onto a website...hint hint
