    i just re looked at my order...
    i've orderd a pic18F877A... but i can't find the data sheet on microchips site nor anywhere else...

    is this a typo or is their actually a pic18f877a?

    Nope, it's a typo.
    There isn't an 18F877A.

    On the Microchip page below, drop down the "Select a Device" box.
    If it's not in the list, it probably doesn't exist ... or is obsolete.

    thaught as much...

    Someone needs to be aware of that typo in the products section then...

    But, they proberbly realised it when they got my order yesterday...
