The Company I work for bought it's first copy (version 2.32) roughly about 9 years ago. The Date stamp on the files is 31/01/2000. So we are looking at quite mature and established software, which is important to consider when selecting a reliable development platform.

    Hi,

    My original release is dating August, 12, 1999 ... v 2.21.

just for fun ... I am always surprised by the very limited number of " bugs " that were corrected in further releases.
Note open libraries generally allow users to correct those rare bugs themselves ...

some other compilers could follow the example ...

    No,no ... I won't give names !!! LOL

Why insist on using 32 Bits when you're not even able to deal with the first 8 ones ??? ehhhhhh ...

IF there is the word "Problem" in your question ...
    certainly the answer is " RTFM " or " RTFDataSheet " !!!
