I need to do body motion capturing, but don't have hundreds and thousands of $$.

I want to develop my own device that do motion capturing (even if it just captures the main body's XYZ)

Do anyone know of a easier and cheaper way to do motion capturing than the following link : http://www.animazoo.com

If anyone can give me tips on where to begin??
