    Default TV display IC

Not sure if anyone here is interested, but I have been working on the TV chip some more and have been listing it on Ebay for a while and supplying a few. The latest listing is here
This listing is only up for a few more days.
Next thing is a kit and also a fully made up version in an ABS box for people who just want to plug it in and use it.

Nice looking graphics for it's purpose, well done.

However, with all those spare pins, i'd like to see COMPOSITE coming out of 1 of them, afterall most of us dont have a bunch of scart tv/monitors or RGB monitors available, yet we all have access to regular composite monitors.

    Just my 2cents

    Keep us posted of upgrades.

So would I. Unfortunately, composite video needs an encoder IC to add the colour burst signal at the start of each line. Can be done, I've forgotten the exact number of the IC now, it handles NTSC and PAL.

NTSC encoding is not as complex as PAL, I could (one day when I have a lot of spare time) add an NTSC composite output but not PAL. That would definitely need another chip.
