    What type of fire? Fuel source? Corrosive chemicals?

    What extinguishing method/media? Water, Foam, Inert Gas, Chemical?

    And how big ? Robot competition or Real life Fire scenario?

    Hi Darrel,
    Yeah that is what I thought too, However The robot bomb disposal vehicle of a certain Police agency was built by a "hobbiest" out of a fork lift, so I figure, better not to assume.http://www.mikesphotos.us/gallery2/v...PEN/LAPD/bomb/

    Go over to the paralax web site and look at the bo-bot projects.
    Some place there is complete basic stamp code for this. Look in the document section. You can do this using IR or what they call wiskers.
