First the 16F727 (16 MHz Int_Osc, I²C, SPI, etc).
I was stunned at the cool features this chip has but, right when I was about to order them I found this:

The good thing is that PBP (maybe 2.6?) and CCS (4.100 acording to ccsinfo.com) will have support for them:

Right now I'm downloading the webminar relative to the subject (http://techtrain.microchip.com/webse...spx?Active=191) to see what changes (the assambler part mostly, 14 new instructions).
Good thing I have a PBP licence (bought from Bruce at Rentron back in 2003, still have the 3.5" floppy).
And the PICKIT3 and ICD3 are a whole other story -my PICKIT2 and ICD2 are about a year old (bought them with 20% discount form Microchipdirect.com last December year), and now a new programmer...... can't keep up, but I must if I want to continue using PIC's
PS: I still have not used the ICD2 and now they offer an ICD3.
