icd communication

using mcs+ and picbasic pro 5.0 and easypic 4 board with microcode loader
can program chips thru serial port after i program loader but unable to run
the icd program say comm error timeout did work at one time not sure whats going on

did the osc and loader used its able to program thru the serial port but unable to work the
icd part like i said was working up to a couple of days ago
tried all the sugesstion given by the program

any help would be appreicated

have done more research and find the problem is when i use mpasm as my assembler
works fine not using this could just go that way but interested in why and ideas
