Hi all,
I’m in desperate need of some thin, stranded, multicolor, isolated wire kind of the type used on old turntables inside the arm.
Does anyone know where I can purchase something like that?
My Google searches did not get me anywhere (maybe didn’t use the right keywords).

How about an old CAT5 Ethernet cable or USB cable? Wires in those are stranded (usually) and multicolored (usually) and thin (they break so often you'd think they're thin enough :) )...but getting them individually isolated is a crap shoot at best...Quote:

Just buy a low price RJ11 phone "flat" extension cable ...
as simple as that !!!
Wire wrapping cable also will do it ... but not really cheaper !!!

Sorry it took me so long to get back to you but I was away for a few days without any access to the internet (you cannot believe how hard that is).
The wires I need must be extremely flexible and extremely thin. If you remember the wires inside the arm of the turntables (not the wires between the cartridge and the cartridge holder) they are perfect for my application.
I’ll let you know what works best from your suggestions.
