Need help in booting/wakeup pc by lan using PIC16f628

Hi Friends,

I Need help in booting/wake up my PC using lan card(supported by BIOS) using PIC16f628.
I want my pc to wake-up/boot and record some audio (VHF 2M NET). I have witten timmer code by not able to write code for wake up/boot pc. I am using PIC16f628,xtal-4mhz.

Any help for wake up/boot code part is appreciated

Hi,

If you are using a PCI LAN card then perhaps the LAN card is having a WakeUp On Lan connector already. If your motherboard supports that header then you do not need the PIC otherwise you may use it to boot-up your PC.
