18f6680 N/C

I am trying to lay out a board for the 18F6680 68 pin PLCC.
There are four pins that are N/C.
Can they be connected to the ground plane?

Yes, anyways there's unconnected in the PIC... you can even left them unconnected.

I was hoping that was the case. The way the socket is laid out I will be able to run a "wide" trace to VSS going through the N/C pins. Or cut them off.
