I use Pic F877 on my project. ı count rotaion of electrical motor rpm.But when ı started the motor pic reset it itself. WHY?.Pic and motor plugged same electrical wire .
How can ı solve this stuation.

Could be tons of things, can you post your schematic?

Well, I guess what I meant was that, not only is the PIC controlling the motor, but it's probably supplying it's power (maybe with a darlington pair, MOSFET, whatever), AND/OR both the PIC and the motor are drawing their power from the same power supply.Quote:

I use relay to run motor.Pic drive raley than motor running.Motor uses 220Volt AC not pic supply
Got a snubber across the relay coil? Good caps across Vdd and Vss on the PIC? Good pullup on MCLR?Quote:
