Processor choosing
Hi, Pic Gurus
I'd like to know if there's a way, using MPLAB, to choose the processor ( compatible range ... of course i.e. 16F84 or 16F628 or 16F88 ... ) by software.
THE last thing I can't pass by is the device selection window ( Configure \ Select Device in MPLAB or MPASMWIN menu ).
Other issues are already SOLVED ... Yessss !!!
Thanks

I don't know i never tried it, but i feel you could extract something in the .MCP, .MCW or .MCS of an existing MPLAB project. Sure you'll need to build those file first but... doable imho.
There's probably a better solution....

Hi, Steve
The problem is to write data from an Excel sheet ( processor type, output configs ... ) by using includes in the .asm listing ... being logical, the "Processor" directive might have been doing that, but halas, not !!!
in the other way it's rather difficult to presume where the MPLAB files have been placed ( Ok, 50% for C:\Program files\Microchip ... )
If you're interested in that ... just ask !!!
