Hi,
i have a pic (16f88) that must control another one ( 16F876A).
I mean first is always running , the second to avoid battery consumption because tied to other devices must be started or switched off from first.
I tied the #2 Pic Mclr( with 4k7 resistor) to #1 PORTB.1 and with
Low portb.1 I switch off #2
and with
High portb.1 I switch on #2
It seems ok but do you know if any problems in circuitry could happen in a long period?
