I've been trying to count the number of pulses for an RPM project using the COUNT command (I have no idea how to set up a hardware counter) and it dosent seem to work at all. The signal that I am counting is going through a schmitt trigger so it is either 0v or +5v, but when the signal is at a steady 0v the PIC just keeps counting.
