I change computer and download PBP3.1,my license activation key is for PBP3.0,but it still can be activate,but when I try to compile,error code pop up saying source file is read only cannot compile,please help

Check if, in fact, the file IS read-only. If not, try moving out of any "virtual folder" like Documents and put in something like C:\PBP\Projects or something.
