Account hacking ?

Hey, someone tried to log in my account last 15 minutes, his IP is 117.169.1.34. Used an ip tracker and pointed me to a Chinese town. Are we unter attack from little Chinese people ?! xaxaxa

I've had that too, one time, a couple of weeks ago.
Received an email from the forum engine that someone had attempted to login, thankfully they failed.

Me too! Today, also from the general China region. Although the IP was different in my case.

Hmm, the question is, what are they trying to accomplish? There are certainly no monetary rewards in here :eek:.

They want to spam the forum (edit your posts, change your sig/home page/bio, etc).

Lots of money to be made.

I have not been notified that this has occurred on my account.
Is there something for each of us to look at to see if there were login attempts??

Just be sure you are using a good password and you should be fine. There are always attacks, just keep your defenses up.
