You will find the 18F458 as being described with 8192 Code space words. According to the data sheet it has 16384 words for code space. I'm probably losing something in the translation.
16384 Total (bytes)=8192 Code Space (words)
read carefully those litlle characters..
Actually the 18F458 has 32,768 bytes of code space and 16,384 words of code space. I believe the specs are still incorrect on the web site. The web page reads "8192 Code Space (words)" The only reason I bring it up is that I was about to buy a larger capacity chip until I realized that I had plenty of space after I read the actual spec sheet.
