Serial Keypad Input

Hi all...

I'm starting on a project and I need some programming advice. Since I'm brand new at this and this portion of my project has several steps, any advice on the most efficient way to handle each task would be greatly appreciated.

1. I'm using a Ser-Key serial keypad to input ASCII values.

2. I need to input two values and hold them in memory to create a number between 00-99.

3. I need to incorporate another button which will clear the two values in memory and reset the process for the next two numbers to be input.

Any suggestions?
