the following is not a joke
have you seen the news?
in LA or somewhere the computer industry is being petitioned to
not use the words MASTER or SLAVE in computer terminology
because they are 'insensitive' terms

this is insane!
it will doubtless lead to profitable lawsuits for those who don't cave in to this nonsense

So everyone using I2C please reprint all your manuals and data sheets to be more sensitive
Oh and have all the standards committees convene and revise all the documents
this will be very productive and bring much needed harmony to the world
