LIN Bus Protocol

I am working on a project to communicate to an automotive seat ECU. The ECU maintains the memory seat positions and uses the LIN bus protocol. I have purchased the Microchip APG LIN Serial analyzer, but I am not having much luck getting any results. I would like to write my own PBPro program, but could use some more information about the protocol. I have found some information on the web, but would like to get some information from someone that has actually worked with the protocol before. Anyone here?
