Negative voltage

Is it possible to output a negative voltage on a pin?

Yes but not without any external hardware.

The question always is ...

negative, yes, but relative to what ???

IF the positive pic supply is connected to Other circuit 0v ... Pic GND will be seen by the other circuit as - 5 v ...
