Well, While that was a problem, it was not THE problem. Still no movement. I tried both mode 1 and mode 0 for the SHIFTOUT methods, also, to no avail.

Looks like you're shifting out $1180 divided by 16, truncated to 8 bits, so $22. That's not what you want, is it?

Be careful with / vs \ ;-)

Likely no direct drop-in with those exact specs. Consider lower speed, external clock, or other PIC families (needs PCB change).

Watch out for the slew rate control bit in PICS.
It defaults to on in the PIC18F26K80!

This screwed me for hours as the SPI just kept falling over above 1mhz.
Not enough drive power for the...

With all of the added benefits or the new forum, a useful feature has been lost. This is the "Today's Post" link that was found in the "Quick Links" drop down. Due to compatibility issues with future updates from vBulletin this link can not be brought back.
