You mean decreasing ovbiously. But problem is not solved and at random time it is possible that will happen again. Maybe more seldom but it will.

Yes, that explains everything. Unfortunately, I can't use the HSERIN/HSEROUT ports available in the 18F4550 because they are already taken doing the hardware communication. Increasing the baud rate...
rsocor01 - 1st May 2024, 12:32That's always an option, but it's a slower mechanism.
And I still have the issue of having sufficient torque to activate the switch. The motor has a stroke length, but no mention of force.

I need to override the switch position in software. MSFS will disable one of those leftmost yellow switches under a certain circumstance.
My first idea was to use momentary switches, and have an...
I think it can be right since Serout/Serout2 happens in a async rate. USB is fast but in any case the soft Serial is interrupted randomly.
The logic analyzer catches one instant of this.

tumbleweed - 29th April 2024, 15:01The PIC ports with HSEROUT and HSERIN are already taken. Using a baud rate of 9600 instead of 19200 made a difference. It is now working fine. The USB Darrel's interrupt takes micro seconds to...
rsocor01 - 29th April 2024, 14:16that can't be right because:)
my next guess is that device A is running on 3Volts:D
this guessing game has got longer legs than i expected
The design is based on a classic switch (On/Off) but if I understand correctly, in special cases, the push button should be in a specific state and user is not allowed to change that.

Re: New project - MSFS C++ USB interface
This is great but why cannot you do it? I think it is cheaper, no mechanics (that can fail), easier to build and only you have to disable it by software. Even if user pushes the button, nothing will...
