The graph at the bottom of page 1 of the LTC4311 shows a total rise-time of about 1uS.

Would a LTC4311 be enough...
What do you mean by active pull-ups? I couldn't see a meaningful description on google.
I'm not using weak internals, I'm using 4K7 externals.
EDIT: ... aaaaaand .......
This pops up...
If you keep messing up the "comma-separated" file prep like I do (the SAVE feature from Open Office is not smooth), consider using a script if you are I.S. savvy.
This is what I do to prepare PCBs...
If you connect a logical analyzer to the serial lines, you know for sure if data is being transmitted or not. That would have saved you a lot of time. I always put in my PCB designs a testing point...
rsocor01 Yesterday, 17:53Okay, I think I might have solved this one. I didn't have the TRIS of the transmit pin configured as an output. I was under the erroneous impression the UART controller trumped control of any port...
rocket_troy Yesterday, 05:25Again, if I have it set up as another baud rate, then why is every text string in quotation marks coming through fine?
Troy
I did not know that.
I don't want unnecessary fumes in my workarea. Not just for me, but also for any plastics or synthetic materials.
I had stored a really nice set of speakers under my...
I was originally planning on making 2 sets of MCP23017 circuits; 1 for input with debounce, 1 for output. But even with JLCPCB it comes out to $1 / PCB. I'd like to lower my cost more, and not have...

Re: Filtering noise from a wire
That graph shows a rise time of 1uS by only using a 15.8k pull-up resistor. It also shows that by using the LTC4311 you get an almost perfect waveform. It looks like this LTC4311 chip is exactly what...
