Just a suggestion, but shouldn't you have described its function and what you are hoping to change?

Cheers

Hi Ahmed, I see that you have already posted this request on these forums and you are short of volunteers

http://www.picbasic.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?p=60368#post60368

I would love to have the skills to help you, but sadly I don't :(
But on a brighter note, maybe you could help me! - my bathroom needs re-tiling, I want block paving on my drive and I need a complete new kitchen. Can you help me? :)

Thanks in advance

Nigel Goodwin wrote the Disassembler, that was used to hack somebody else's HEX file or unprotected chip.
The disassembler itself is now part of WINPICPROG also from Nigel.

Who knows who wrote this program, and in what language to begin with.

I did the exact same thing.
But after searching for WinDis84, it came up with dozens of similar threads on lots of other forums, with everyone asking someone to convert the disassembled code to whatever language that forum was for, or otherwise modify it to their specific needs.

Ya know Darrel, only 2 or 3 people in here, Can help this fellow . . .
And 0 that will. I hope.

Then buy one of the readers off e-bay - be a lot less hassle, and you would not end up offending a lot of people on this board by expecting those with the experience to produce your project for free without you lifting a finger.

Problem is that the bulk of those readers on eBay are for OBD-II (similar to what I've built recently, but mine rocks and those suck :D)
He wants ALDL, which is, for all practical purposes, a GM standard and not a world wide standard. Therefore, the documentation for reading/writing thru the ALDLink is even worse than it is for OBD-II.
You're right though. The old school ALDL readers are out there... A guy just has to read in depth a bit...

But you see Jer. A Daewoo isn't really worth the effort or the money to fix. My personal recommendation would be a BFH (Big Friendly Hammer). :)

Of course not! Leave the RTFM to me. After all, isn't that what you're paying me for? :D
Look, I should know...It's not that hard.
After all, I used to bullseye womprats in my T-16 back home...
They're not bigger than 2 meters.
