Hi, Sayzer

12kW to have a tore turning and a voltmeter moving ...

very interesting energy transmission ratio ...

That reminds me a small ball of glass under vacuum, with turning plates inside ( 1 black side, 1 metal side )

The more light, the quicker it turns ...

Solar sails, also ...

Now that was entertaining :D Much effort they have put to that video.
Nice sound in the "12kW laser" :D

What is true? "The laser" sure sounds and looks funny. The laser device is probably real but the beam is seems nice animation and sounds copied from probably from Half life game. It sounds exactly like. Theres no need to wach the video longer than when he claims they developed device that violates for example first law of thermodynamics.

By the way, quite nice dramatic backround music in official-like scientific demonstration video while the beam was on. :D

I thought the beam and background music was from Star-Trek.

Hi,

Ranke tube also was supposed to violate thermodynamics laws ...

Was/is the gyro thing providing power to the laser or is the laser enhancing the gyro?
What materials is the gyro made from?

Always thought the second law of thermo was kinda...user defined? Breaking it may not be a big deal.

How does it go, some bees are not able to fly given the supposed laws of physics, but no one has told the bee :)

If a law of physics could be broken, the law would not be valid and therefore it would not be a law of physics.

Energy conservation is the two words needed in this case. Such a system is clearly impossible. Everyone should see that.

Every scientific advancement has broken Somebody's "LAW".
It just means the "Law" was incorrect or incomplete.

However, unless that device just created a gravitational field the size of a small Star ... you're not going to make light bend and spin like that.

Oh, and it's ODD that they would use a PH meter to measure the results.

Earth was believed to be flat once; and it was a "true" scientific information of that time.
In the books in libraries, it was stated as "flat" and in educational places, it was a true information that was given to the students. In time, the earth changed its shape?

They will soon make an international announcement.

I will post the announcement date here.

I like those, who say that and that..., have a camera ready;
and I like those to take a picture of their faces and post to me when they complete their presentation, internationally in front of the scientists from well recognized and highly respected universities around the world.

I like to see their faces.

Ohh, before taking that picture, take a normal picture first.

Nice overlaid laser effects.
How many high power lasers make such noise?
Nice touch with the lab coat and the CLEAR safety glasses.
Is this object the next future turbo-encabulator?
Can't wait for the laughs at the 'announcement'!!!

Hi,

I think the first President of Turkey, Mustafa Kemal Atatürk.

I think the first President of Turkey, Mustafa Kemal Atatürk.

A striking resemblance indeed.

I was expecting a scientist, or physicist.

A scientist or physicist?

A fascist. Ataturk's ideology bears particularly striking similarity to the Italian fascism of Mussolini before WW2.

Of course, someone brings the flat earth up. People have burn witches too. People believe in horoscopes they read in paper. Bible says earth was created in 7 days. That is too a "true" information you can read even today 2.9.2008, printed in white and black.

Real physics is based in rationality and facts. Of course there must be THEORIES to test natures functionality. Many THEORIES are not valid, thats why they are THEORIES. What you are blindly trying to ignore is VERY FUNDAMENTAL LAW of physics not a THEORY. Im talking about conservation of energy.

Im very interested why you are so convinced about this. Please tell me!

If you dont know much of physics, you obviously believe easily what you dont understand and what you can see in official looking video where smooth talking white coat man demonstrates an empty axeled tunafish-can that rotates inside a circle with fake laser effect. Even if the source is Google videos.

Who would not want a infinite energy source invented? That would be greatest invention of millenium. Unfortunately it is impossible.

Hi,

Yess ... the universal lazyness Law :

Everything and one always go to its minimum energy state ...

For the sake of debate :)

Maybe it was, maybe it was not. How do we know? It is easy to say it could not have been created in seven days because we can not understand how it could be done. Big bang is just as hard to believe. The whole universe in a point of singularity?

I would ask how you are so sure. Maybe read it in a book? A respected proffessor told it in a lecture ? Surely you have not tested everything yourself.

Yes, we have to build on the work of others, or we would still be working on the wheel. Like Darrel said, every new discovery breaks someones laws.

Dalton laughed when Keely said the atom had 27 levels. Dalton said three. As we understand it today Keely was wrong. 29 have been discovered.

Is light a wave acting like a particle, or is it a particle acting like wave?

At the turn of the 19th century the either was spoken of, then discredited. Now there is talk of dark energy and dark matter.

on and on.

I am not saying I believe the video. I do not have enough knowledge to know. And I have not conducted the research myself.

I am trying to keep an open mind. Just hope nothing falls out :D

We are getting nice conversation here :)

My Reasons to believe to conservation of energy:

* Experiments say it

* As we know, physics is a hierarchic science. As like in mathematics, we use basic things to build more complex tools that may still be used for more advanced applications. If basics are not valid, you cannot build high level tools. Conservation of energy is very basic law that carries much of physics. If such a fundamental element would be wrong, how could we develope high level valid theories? For example quantum mechanics works. Even in particle physics where particles annihilates facing anti-material, the law is fulfilled. For example: How could we build a skyscraper if such a fundamental thing as basis of the building is unstable?

* Why it wouldnt be valid?

* If conservation of energy would not be valid, energy would appear from nothing. It doesnt sound logical. Only asking "what if it is not true" doesnt make any difference.

I know my name. I am sure of it. Or am I? How can i be sure of it?
Well, i cant. Maybe im connected to a system like Matrix (in the Matrix movie) and computer makes me think im another person or maybe a bus ran over me and I am unconscious in hospital rigth now and I imagine to be this another person.

Sometimes something just must accept as truth, like that I am living in real world instead of the matrix kind of system or something another. I am accepting conservation of energy as truth.

Sorry the delay for replying. My computers monitor went broken and I ordered new. I should get it tuesday. Im at a universitys computer now and i believe i will check this forum next time when i get the new monitor.
