Hi all,
Many years ago I was using a Dallas Semiconductor kit, DS1821K, especially design for DS1821 family temperature sensor/ thermostat. I was using it only to program the TH, TL and status registers so I can use the device (DS1821) as a stand alone thermostat.
Unfortunately I lost the HDD with the DEV1821.EXE file and the hardware involved (or part of it).
I still have some other parts of other kits (DS9091K, port adaptors, DS9097 and DS9097E and a fair supply of DS1821 chips).
I would like to make use of them but I no longer have the setup.
A search on Dallas (now Maxim) site left me empty handed.
My humble questions to the forum are:
• Does anyone know where I can find the DEV1821.EXE file to download and some info on the schematic of the hardware?
• Does anyone know if they have for sure an other kit which can, out of box, work with the target device (DS1821) or its newer versions? I prefer to use this particular device because is the only one I know that comes on a 3 pin package and one of the choices is TO220 (easy to mount).
• Does anyone have such kit for sale?
Thank you for your attention!
Nick
