Hi, Everyone
I've just finished the successful assembly of the TCP/IP PBPL port. The 32-bit stuff works great and made the task relatively easy. I'm adding a simple HTTP server example to the code as well. You'll all see this "later" but I'll post the code on www.edtp.com sometime over this weekend.
Have fun,
Fred

The download is no longer working, anyone have these files.
I am basically wanting a PIC to call a web php page from the Internet.
So just need a simple solution of connecting a PIC to the Internet to 'call' this PHP. Once called the php script does the rest.
Many thanks.

It looks like this is it, from the same author.
http://www.nutsvolts.com/media-files/734/Aug07-DesignCycle.pdf
Attached are two files I have found for it. The one with "package" came with the nuts and volts article.
eth_mini_PBPL_tcp.zip includes ;
;7/24/2007 FE/PB Brought up ARP,ICMP and UDP for EDTP test panel
; 8/22/2007 FE Brought up DHCP
; 10/25/2007 FE Brought up TCP and HTTP
Whereas the other files date is 8/22/2007

Thanks very much for the reply.
not having looked at Nuts & Volts before, is there an easy way to find the articles ?
In the PDF you highlighted, it states that the previous article is about the mini assembly etc, can I find it !!
I've searched through the http://www.nutsvolts.com/media-files/ folder with no luck.
Thanks again.

Well, I have a subscription, so it may be easier for me. I just went to the previous month's magazine, and looked at the Design Cycle column. The article is called Datacomm Like A Bigshot in July 2007. Not sure what the interface looks like for people that don't have a subscription. In fact, I am not sure if people can read my link below. It does not look like that hardware is available anymore, looking at: http://edtp.com/ , but perhaps this hardware would work with it? http://www.sparkfun.com/products/7830

Thanks very much for your help.
I have now managed, after a lot of internet searching, got all the Nuts & Volts magazine articles and supporting files that relate to this subject.
I am wondering if the Ethernet Mini board is still available for purchase ? Its no longer listed on EDTP web site.
Regards,
Steve

Hi Tissy,
Did you find anything that I missed? Also, see my previos post for possible hardware.

Looks like MeLabs has noticed this recently as well. Here are the articles, with an additional PING example. This is under Nuts and Volts
