dear sir.

i am ruwan i like to make using sms conrtol ather device,(light on or off and light on position automaticaly recived sms alert) please help me .thank you

hello...

i success sending sms using pic16F84A..

1st---what phone or modem u want use.
2nd---the phone or modem must have at command
3rd--- if use PIC16F84A must use 8Mhz because the speed.
4th--- what languase u want use.(MPLAB,PIC BASIC PRO,C,PROTON)
5----- u must know about serial comunication.

02nd--no i haven"t any commond(at command)

i cant help u A to Z because i not master about this..

this forum already talk about this. but now i cant find for give to you.

if u want use nokia3310 that very difficult. u must know about F-bus or M-bus. i cant succes using the phone.

u find the mobile phone with moden,something like sonyerricson t610 or other.

t610 have at command so that easy to comunication with pic.

for send the at command using pic basic pro u can use Serin2 and serout2.

ser in 2 and ser out 2 is enough

i followed pic programing short course and i can program led circuit and,7sigment ,
there for i can do this project on ur help.

hello..

that time i built this project i dont know about Pic and Programming. just study and learn for other people topic... so u more good that me... heeheee

t10 can use but the modem time is hex mode. that u must convert the hex kod.
That more easy if can find modem with support text mode...

can u describe about your project

If your message do not change, you can store it in the sim card and send with the "AT+CMSS=" command.

my home unit (include t10 phone & pic 16f84 )pic 16f84 ic portb.0 input some signal again i need to know that signal through sms to my hand phone.
and i send sms my home unit again pic portb.1 high (out put signal)

can you write me simple exmple.this one.i want to automaticaly send massag "hello" .16f84 portb.0 input signal.
(tell me first i am this masage save in phone.then i writ program pic using at command.then send phone using data reciving pin)

I hope you are not being ironic...

In case you don't, I have to say that such a project is not simple or for the novice. You must have a good understanding of serial communication and can suggest few books to read and of course hardware knoledge of the devices you are going to use.

In the case of mobiles, you have to do 2 way communication with the device under control to make sure that all your settings are processed. Even a single AT must be replied with an OK and your PIC should received it before sending any new commands.

Also every phone/module have additional commands special to itself.

If you have written some code but want to check it or debug it, feel free to post it here.

i have a ericsson gf768 phone . i can,t find a t10 phone .
