Was Reading A Spec Sheet On The Backlight Of These Displays
Say 1500 Hrs Could That Be Right Is So Whats A Better Way This Is Not Nearly Enough

LED backlight or EL backlight?
LED backlight @ 1500 hours? Only if you're pushing it at the max current and it's really hot in the area.
EL backlight @ 1500 hours? Very possible, but again, probably at the max current rating.

How to make it last longer? Don't drive the backlights at their maximum current levels.

Only have the light on when you actually need it on. Saves power too.
