3.3V not working with 16f818

Anbody no why my pic16f818 works fine with 5 volt power and not with 3.3 V. The specs say it should work with 2-5 V.

The 16F818 has a minimum of 4.0V

The 16LF818 can go down to 2.0V

The F818/819 may work with 3 volts, the LF is guaranteed.
