1. Do you have an "Electrifly"? Or do you just want us to copy it for you?

2. What have you done to attempt using one? And what were the symptoms if it didn't work?

3. Do you have a program for us to find a problem with. Or do we need to write that too?

1) - How do you propose to controm the brushless motor if not via RC transmitter / receiver. The simple way would be to use a PIC or NE555 to generate the 1 - 2 ms PPM signal that the ESC is expecting.

2) - What are you trying to do with the motor.

However you will need to design or research the project fully, and come up with your own code or schematic. You shouldn't expect the guys here to develop the project for you

Hi,

There was exactly the same thread here, some weeks ago :

http://www.rcgroups.com/diy-electronics-199/

exactly here :

http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=617999

so, with a little SEARCH ... you'll have your answer !!!

I have used several time the M33033 and the M33035 from Motorola. It very simple to conect these with a pic.
The only connection are.
+5v or gnd for the direction
5v for enable input
0 to 5Volts for speed.

Hi,Paulvits

The translated question was " how to generate 1 - 2 ms, 5v pulses @ ~ 50 Hz " ...

not to create a brand new controller...

thnx for all of you

what i understand from you guys
that i must generate 1 - 2 ms PPM signal to the ESC

to generate the signal i must build a servo pulser

so which one better this http://www.uoguelph.ca/~antoon/gadgets/servo3.gif
or the one in the attach?

Hi Al

Mine ...( The second !!! ) works fine and is simple to realize ...

but all "555 " designs are to be used without fear !!!

hey
Acetronics i know you get bored from me but i swear its the last question

after i build the servo pulser
i should conect the red wire one the ESC to the + wire one the servo pulser
and the brown to - and the orange to the signal and it(the motor) will work without a receiver right?

> do not think you can do it so quickly !!! being boring only comes from stupid questions ... not from lack of knowlege !!!

Seems right ... which brand is your ESC ???... just to be sure !!!

Hi,

Ok, With Universal connector !!!

Check the red Led dims with the stick position ( low glow = 1 ms signal side High glow = 2ms signal side ) and you can connect ...
