A project I have taken on involves wiring a clock signal into a quadrature decoder that I am using with a digital encoder. I basically need a square sine wave input to the decoder. I have an extra two lead crystal clock that I use with PICs, I wanna see if I can use this. Does anyone have experience with this? Do I just need one lead from the crystal at Vcc or what? Thanks for your input!!!

Thanks, that's a big help. I ended up doing it differently, but thanks for the effort.
