Here´s another one... does the line "define osc xx" have to be ALWAYS the value of the xtal or this depends on the clock configuration for the pic?

It depends on the final PIC configuration... eg 10MHz xtal with x4 PLL = 40MHz total - and that's what you set PICBasic for.
