I have been searching the forum for WPU configurations and how it works.

There is one thing that makes it difficult to understand for me at least.

When WPU is active, all pins on PortB are pulled internally high.

The datasheet says that "WPU is automatically turned OFF when the port pin is configured as an Output". Does this mean, as it says "pin", WPU is turned OFF only for that individual pin?

Or it is turned OFF for all PortB pins and needs to be turned ON again for the next cycle?

As far as i know, only the pin is affected, not the whole PORT.

But there's probably some exception to the rule... i can't say, i never trust the internal pull-up for a final project, only for testing if i'm too lazy to place few resistor on a board :)
