how to calculate the total time to compleat some instructions

i mean, if i have 13 picbasic code lines and i want to know how much time
will these codes will take to compleat its job?
All i know an assembly instruction takes 1Us to compleat its job, but this time i have
more lines write in Basic. Do I look at HEX file size and multiply its size to 1Us or not ?
