Sending SMS with Nokia 3210/3310

Hi all

I have a Nokia 3210 and a 3310 GSM available

As I'm building a home alarm I would like to send and receive
SMS

Untill now I did not found any software to convert PDU formatted messages
Is there anyone who can help ?
or
Is it possible to send serial AT commands to the Nokia 3210/3310 ?

Hello,
I am not sure if your NOKIA has a serial interface since I do not know this phone. If it has a serial interface then you can certainly send AT commands to it and consequently read and send SMS messages.

A PDU to Text routine was published elswhere in the forum by bitmaniac.

What is the format of the FBus/Mbus frame coming out of the phone? Is it like AT which is numiric string or Hex numbers.
