CAN-bus and PIC

Hello and good day to all,

This is certainly an old hat. I want to develope a system with PIC with a CAN bus implementation.

I need 8 ADCs and at least 25 I/O excluding ADCs. Is there anyone out there who can help me with my first tottering steps in this direction as to PIC type, methods, programs, pitfalls etc? I am a complete novice at CAN and,to make it all worse, ufortunantly I have little time to spare at the moment. I would really appreciate it if someone could

i) spoon-feed me
ii) point to existing threads over this topic
iii) Hardware/Software recomendations
vi) Licence/Legal stuff etc.
v) Do's, Don't do's

Hi Sougata,

thanks for the lead, I have already check some, but not this. My problem is simply 'Ordered next week, to be deliverd last month...', but you probably know such cases yourself.
