Hi,

Thank you very much Bruce for the link. It is tight coded and works great. But I am unable to find a bootloader for PIC18F452 @ 40MHz. Can you help ?

This is one of the best. http://www.mecanique.co.uk/products/pic-prog/bootloader.html

And here's another http://www.microchipc.com/PIC18bootload/

Hi,

Thanks for the links. I will tryout the PIC18F452 @ 40MHz Bootloader. The bootloaders supplied by MCSP are standard 4MHz and 20MHz and for a 40MHz one an additional price has to be paid. (Got the info from another developer).

Thanks and Regards

sougata, You are wrong. If you have a registered copy of Microcode Studio all you have to do is leave an email of the processor you are using and the oscillator frequency you are using and you will get a replay with the appropriate hex file to be loaded into the pic. I have requested this combination about 2 years ago and it is all I use with the 18F452 processor.
