I have several PIC18F47Q43 in DIP-40 and I have a couple PIC18F57Q43, but not what you need.

yes these chip shortages are real pain in bum

i manged to get 5 40pin dip versions but hardwaring them on to a pcb that has aTQFP pad layout is not fun , so i am triing to avoid it , but currently it looks like late sept to get stock for a test

Grrr

Unfortunately it is not the only chip that is out of stock. Everything I look for is on the same situation.

yes your correct , small mosfets , most Microchip chips of k40 , k42,87k22,q43 etc in most of the common used packages currently have a possible stock date ,that are about oct22 - april 23 , some 12 months away

i would hope that these dates are not end up being correct , but at this point it seems likly

most items i need are not avaialble till late sept or oct from manufactures , with some real scalpers in china tring to over price everything that they can

Beware, some companies will -- at best desolder chips from used circuit boards or -- at worst, sell dummy chips marked with the labeling of what you want. I've seen numerous articles recently about counterfeit chips. Bottom line is they don't do what the manufacturer claims.

yes i have few select suppliers of chips in china , and have not had issues with them to date, but i am now not willing to go beyond those ones that have proved ok

i have heard of some really poor fakes , of microchip parts have started to show up , most are just removed from pcbs and still asking the same or higher than what the chip is new , but when its stocked

with some really stupid pricing from some eg with shipping to oz of 10 x 47q43 = $190usd + 120usd shipping - and no way to know your getting fakes

DONT FALL FOR IT , COS IT SURE TO BE A LOSS COIN ON THEM

I don't know if it's different for AUS, but for the US MicrochipDirect has a "sample" request that allows you to get up to two devices x qty 3 of each every 30 days.

It's showing the PIC18F47Q43 I/PT as 1-2 weeks right at the moment.

well did a sample order , see if anything is sent

no fees as i buy a lot of items from them

really strange if they are able to send samples of chip that they dont have to sell , till late in the year for any production

They should show up. I've had this happen for a number of chips lately... 0 stock but I can still get free samples.

I have a feeling they have more stock than they're letting on, probably for their "preferred supply" program.

Even partner program is broken and the agreed prices changed!

the samples coming from the microchip Thailand warehouse , not the usa one , so perhaps they have stock but not for all
