Sorry about that. I can't even see it myself anymore, I hope it's not vanished. Apparently a mod has to approve it before it goes "live" so to speak so hopefully it's "just" that.
I'll post a link to it as soon as I get one of the mods to push the button.

i'm sure the timing could be adjusted if necessary , the arduino stuff seems to treat them as interchangeable with ws812 code wise
i have none to play with for now

Hi Richard,
If you mean the hardware assisted (CLC) version, then yes, I've seen it but have not tried it nor have I tried to understand exactly how it works.
I think that sort of approach would start to make sense if used on something like a K42 type device making use of its DMA - which happens to be the device sitting on my breadboard...
And yeah, some treat them interchangable but there's a clear difference in the actual specification. I like to stick to specifications when possible :-)
